Welcome Nelly Pecina as our new Assistant Principal!

Miller Jordan Middle School is excited to announce our new Assistant Principal, Nelly Pecina. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages from the University of Texas-Pan American and her MBA from Tiffin University. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Our Lady of the Lake University. Mrs. Pecina has worked in education for 10 years and has most recently served as our campus's RTI Teacher.

"My goal together with all school administration is to lead a transformational school where adults work relentlessly to build balanced students: students who are academically solid and emotionally intelligent. This approach best positions students to be contributing members of their community and our larger world.
I am starting my 10th year in the education field. I am incredibly invested in our Miller Jordan vision and mission and am so excited about what our organization is doing for students. During my time within the education field, I’ve had many roles including a teacher, interventionist, and instructional facilitator for special programs." says Mrs. Pecina. "As a strong believer of life-long learning, I am currently working on a Ph.D. degree in Organizational Leadership from Our Lady of the Lake University. My dissertation emphasizes the importance of school culture and its effects on student learning."

Please help welcome Nelly Pecina as our new Assistant Principal!
